Liz Vacco is a LA-based performer and choreographer. She grew up in Stow, Massachusetts and graduated from Yale with honors in Theater Studies.  Throughout her four years at Yale, she danced and choreographed for Yaledancers and served as the organization's co-president and treasurer.

For the past ten years, she has been active in the New York downtown theater and dance communities, performing with Les Freres Corbusier, The Collapsable Giraffe, Fovea Floods, Gold No Trade, One Year Lease, Sidra Bell Dance NY and at Lincoln Center’s Clark Studio Theater, St. Ann’s Warehouse, PS 122 and the Hangar Theater. She has also toured regionally and internationally, most recently to Shanghai, China. She is a founding member of Immediate Medium and has collaborated on all IM pieces since 2002, contributing to their original and genre-defying works as a creator, performer and choreographer.

Additionally, she has taught dance, choreography, theater and yoga to children through the New York City Ballet’s Education Department, at Discovery Programs on the Upper West Side, and through City Kids Dance in Brooklyn, to name just a few. She has also worked for the non-profit organization, The Children's Aid Society, implementing and expanding the after-school theater program at P.S. 5. She is excited to announce the release of an original dance video for kids ages 2-5 that she created entitled Petite Feet.
